Divorce Advice (And It Won’t Cost You a Thing)
When people say they are going to provide divorce advice, I usually cringe. With the inordinate amount of information that you can find online, or the friends, colleagues and family members who all have something valuable to add to the conversation, it can be downright overwhelming. The truth is that the one person you should always listen to is yourself. You have to feel comfortable with the attorney you choose, with the therapist you see and with the financial expert you trust in. And above all else, you must trust in the divorce process that you choose. Although the Collaborative divorce model is not right for every couple, if the professionals involved all have good working relationships, this will leave you protected while still saving "everyone time and money.”
